Good Masters in Creative Marketing / Communications in Europe
Good Masters in Creative Marketing / Communications in Europe?
I'm trying to find a masters degree in CREATIVE marketing in Europe, preferably in Spain, Italy or the UK. I prefer having something which can offer me an internship, and I'd like to opt for a masters which is less business oriented and more on the communications and creative side, as my first degree is in communications and not commerce. I already contacted IED communications and thats quite what i'm looking for. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

A masters program in the sciences will require a certain amount of background to apply. You don't need a major in it, but you need particular classes, which might be as many as needing a major. Look up some masters programs - they'll list the requirements for application.

Hmm... even though there is a lot of psychology used in Marketing, it is mostly "consumer psychology" which is actually the name of a major at some schools. When it comes down to it, it is up to the discretion of the grad school. To be honest, I think it will be hard. Psychology is a relatively common major, and having just a bachelor's in it is almost worthless. Therefore, you're gonna be up against tons of Psychology majors when applying to Psych grad school. If the school has one more slot open, and they have you with say a 3.6 and a Psych major with a 3.0, I think they might just take them. My point is, you might be able to, but it's gonna be hard. A 4.0 might be your only hope. If you're passionate about psychological stuff, I'm pretty sure the finance/accounting core stuff in the marketing major will bore you, so think about majoring in Psych and minoring in Marketing.

Should I get a masters in fashion marketing/merchandising
Should I get a masters in fashion marketing/merchandising?
I have an undergraduate degree in Political Science and worked in the a different industry for over 4 years. Now I am getting an AAS at Parsons in Fashion Marketing because I wanted to switch to something I am more passionate about. I really want a masters degree to complete my education and just found out that Academy of the Art has a MFA in Fashion Merchandising. I am wondering what you think about pursuing the degree.

Academy of Art University is a great school to go to for Fashion Merchandising. I studied it while there and learned a lot! Since all of the instructors there are industry experts, I received a lot of valuable knowledge and hands-on experience which helped prepare me for success. Once I graduated from the Academy, I was able to land a really great job at Zac Posen. You can see a list of Fashion firms that hire Academy grads by visiting: http://www.academyart.edu/fashion-school/index.html
