communications director for a large company. marketing firm manager and lots of others that are like this. but most importantly, ppl get degrees and never use them. its the fact that you have a degree (doesnt matter in what) that gets ur foot in the door at some places.

You can become a bar tender or cab driver.

The way things are going with all the outsourcing in America you could always sell dog food to the supermarkets. Set up all the displays for the newer improved dog food. Just don't feed it to a dog if you love it.

Correct. Your Masters does not have to be in the same area as your undergraduate major.

With an associates or bachelors, you can probably get a marketing assistant job where you help a marketing manager with marketing communications, graphic design, product support, etc. A master's degree and some experience will land you a marketing management career but it could also be used for other fields like public relations, marketing research, business analysis, etc.
