can i be a fashion marketer with only a masters in business(marketing)

can i be a fashion marketer with only a masters in business(marketing) ??..?
i already have a bachelors in commerce degree and want to enter the fashion industry(fashion marketer/buyer). i know apart from degrees it requires work experience but a degree is still important. Should i do a diploma in fashion marketing or should i do a masters in business( marketing specialization) ?is it ok to just have a masters in buss or is it necessary to have a fashion background?

If you are very particular - can go for the Diploma in fashion, but you'll limit your career options. MBA will be a better option - you can enter fashion as well as other areas as per your choice after completion. If you can get in to one of the better places for MBA that shuld be good. Best of luck.

you wasted 2 yrs of grad school on an "internet Marketing" degree? that degree will probably be obsolete in 4 yrs I can't imagine there are any full time jobs for that job title - you will have to do project work and constantly look for new business and it will never pay that much annually

I would go with the master's degree as long as the online college has a good reputation.

A masters degree is definitely more valuable. Certificates are good when a comparative degree is either unavailable or too expensive. Consider costs, time and future opportunities to make a decision. Personally, I'd pick the degree.
