Why aren't there any Masters in Business in the United States?
For instance a Masters in Marketing, International Business etc.? When I look at most schools, they only offer MBA's. And MBA's are mostly targeted towards people who come from non-business backgrounds. I saw that they have Masters in Business in other countries, yet they do not have them in the States at all from what I see. Why is that? And what grad school are you suppose to go to if you completed your undergrad degree in business?

Where are the good universities in Europe to get the MBA or Master Degree on Marketing/Finance and Banking
Where are the good universities in Europe to get the MBA or Master Degree on Marketing/Finance and Banking?
I am planning to study overseas to get the MBA or Master Degree on Marketing/ Finance and Banking in Europe. I can speak English only, so i m looking for a 1~2 years course teaching in English. I am very appreciated if someone could tell me about the best place to learn, and besides the living environment and the qualifications and budget for attending the class... Thank you very much and waiting for the replies.

Check these websites for good universities in Europe and the UK for MBA programs. Most B-Schools also offer MSc in Finance or Marketing or Banking too. http://www.businessweek.com/bschools/04/geographic.htm http://www.careerdynamo.com/mba_uk_ranking.html Just search for the college of your choice in Google to reach their official website if a link is not provided. There may be Universities in the UK that will give you a degree in English too but I have not researched that scope so I won't be able to pin-point anything to you. And questions like living environment/expenses, qualifications, requirements, tuition would be best answered by looking at the respective college websites or by asking the college itself or getting in touch with a student of that college. All the best!

I had no idea there was such a degree - you have a masters degree in int'l fashion marketing - wow

I would think this would really depend on your job/employer of choice. From what I've learned, CIM training would typically not be required, but some employers may prefer it. I would compare this to employers in the business world who want "Six Sigma" trained employees. It's often not required, but sometimes preferred.

No. If you have master's you are supposed to be better than any cim-er. Go ahead and don't let this thing prevent you from applying to jobs. by the way, in my personal opinion CIM is total absolute crap as they offer nothing more (even less) than regular marketing major program. Good luck Marketingly yours, R.
