Is There Any Place In Southern California Where I Can Get An MS In Marketing?
...preferably Los Angeles County. I don't want to deal with an MBA. I know USC offers (or used to offer) a Masters in Marketing independent of an MBA, but I'm not trying to spend all that money. Yes it does exist, and the "S" does stand for Science. Baruch College in NYC and Georgia State University both offer a MS in Marketing.

I had no idea that an MS in Marketing even existed. I was always under the impression that the S in MS stood for "Science".

Did you check with your guidance counsellor? My guess is that you can be a teacher......perhaps....and then a guidance counsellor giving same advice. Good Luck. Happy Life!

The Masters degree in Education administration means you can be a principal or vice-principal. You do not have a teaching license so you cannot be a teacher. Normally you cannot get you Masters degree in Education Administration unless you have been teaching for 3 or more years (in Oregon.) Good Luck

You can teach at the local college or high school.

You didn't indicate what you taught and the grade level, but you should be able to parlay that into a sales job or perhaps a professional development/training job with an educational company. Most of the people selling to schools/colleges/districts are former educators. Almost all of the people acting as trainers for educational software, textbook implementations, technology products, science lab materials, etc. have been in the classroom. Start by contacting some of the companies that you did business with (for example, software or textbooks you liked) and see if they are hiring. Very often they will hire directly from teaching, without any sales/training experience, it just depends on the company. If you don't know the companies, find out some of the big educational conferences in your state and go to the conference website for the current year or a previous year. Look for the Vendor listing. It will give you a good starting point. I hope this info helps steer you in the right direction! Good luck!

What can i do with a MASTER in Marketing
What can i do with a MASTER in Marketing?
I will graduate with a BS in Economics in May. I want to go to grad school to get a specialisation before getting out there. I eventually plan to go back home to work in a small entreprise (500 employees). Will a degree in Marketing be worth it? What about a degree in Finance? Any suggestions?
