Masters in Marketing without an Economics bachelor's

Masters in Marketing without an Economics bachelor's?
All right, well I am about to start college as a freshman. The major I am interested in is English with concentration in writing. Since I want to work in the publishing industry, I believe this will work for me. However, just in case I am looking into double majoring, Economics. Is it possible to get a Masters in Marketing without an Economics degree, and only with an English degree? I'm thinking of either working in editing, possibly marketing.

Absolutely possible, it doesn't matter what your undergrad degree is in when you go for your MBA.

You'd be going for a Masters in Business Administration in Marketing. You don't need to have any specific undergrad degree to get into an MBA program, but keep in mind that most require you to have some work experience. Go to college and study what you're interested in, especially because you're considering grad school. I don't know personally, but I've heard that double majoring in two liberal arts subjects (English and Econ) is useless.
