I do not have a bachelors degree but am a tech geek and am knowledgeable about SEO and SEM practices. I mainly have a sales background and am looking for a change.

In my honest opinion, you don't really need a degree. With regards to Internet marketing it is more important that you got something to show for. If you start your own company, no one will ask you if you have a degree. Rather, they would like to see proof what you are capable of.

I generated more than $100,000.00 online, and I do not have any IM degree. hundreds of people earned way more than me and they don't have any degree. Not needed.

Hi, congrats on your decision to get into internet marketing...if you do it right, and work hard, it will pay off HUGELY! You really don't need a degree. All you need is to educate yourself. Ask yourself...how much would you spend on a degree? Then take that money and invest it in educational materials. General Internet Marketing education: From my own experience, I have learned the most from the following internet marketing resources. - PPC Classroom - Joel Comm - Steve and Tim (Commission Blueprint, Niche Blueprint etc.) <-- Most valuable, comprehensive and easy to understand internet marketing information out there IMO. To learn SEO - SEO Book (seobook.com) <-- no aff. link - SEO for dummies (actual book) that should get you a long way on internet marketing.
